We awoke this morning and went for a wander together around the resort. There was some interesting set pieces around the resort with some really cool model animals.
We explored the Pine Tree forest which was entirely man made, there were rows of Pine Trees and a huge boot!
Next we took some photos around some of the more natural beauty. Check out the scenery here in the background! The foreground is nothing to complain about either ðð
After stopping for breakfast, we headed to the pool with the rest of the family:
After this, Nica and I went to a cool Viking Pool that the 2 of us had the privlige of access to thanks to our accomodation. This was the viking pool and was not very deep, more aimed towards the younger visitor I think!
We headed back to our accomodation and started getting ready for the long drive home. Nica took the opportunity to take some nice selfies you can see here.
The family all gathered for some photos before we got into the car. Jastine’s Andrew would drive some of us home to CDO and the extended family would take the hired minibus back to Gingoog City and beyond.
We took the opportunity to stop off for Lunch in Valencia City where we parted ways with the family who had met us from Davao City. I tried some of the Ice Cream known as Halohalo which was very nice!
After this, we had one more stop at a place called Lovers Lane. The views here were inredible too! We said farewell to the non-CDO members of the family and took some amazing pictures. This would be the last time I see them on this trip to the Philippines.
We got this nice photo of us on the bridge and then we hung out with young Amira (Darlene and Cocoy’s daughter) here, being held by Sheena. She’s soooooo cute, just look at that cheeky smile!
Jastine’s Andrew drove us the rest of the way back to CDO and we made our way upstairs, very tired and a bit hungry by now. We were treated to a beautiful view of the moon and the city below from our balcony.
To satisfy our hunger we Foodpanda’d (Similiar to Uber Eats/Deliveroo) some McDonald’s. Shortly after that, it was time to shower and wash up, ready for another busy day tomorrow
